This is the theme for those entering grades 6 – 8 in the Fall. In this young teen club, they will read a total of five books and will receive a prize for every book that they read. At the end of the summer, they will receive a gift certificate after the completion of reading all 5 books.

A Note to Parents: The goal of the Summer Reading Program is to encourage children to read during the summer months in order to foster a love of reading that will last a lifetime. This program is designed to make reading fun so that children will want to participate and read more. In addition, children who read during the summer are better prepared to meet the challenge of a new school year in the fall.
