Job Description
  The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for all benefit plans including union and non-union plans. Perform duties and carry out responsibilities specific to benefits administration, account management, renewal, and general account administration functions for union and non-union hospital and administrative staff. As the Human Resource liaison this position works in cooperation with Human Resource Staff, employee health, union representatives, both Payroll and the Finance departments.

Support all employee benefit programs including enrollments and terminations for Union and Non-Union benefit programs providing continuous communications for plan changes
·Coordinate and conduct new employee onboarding process and present benefits presentations to ensure employees gain an understanding of benefit plans and enrollment provisions. Plan and administer annual open enrollment period. This includes preparation (or revision) and distribution of materials, conducting meetings to communicate changes to employees, arranging for on-site representation by providers, and processing changes within deadlines.
·Enroll Non- Union staff and union association members into the applicable benefits program/s.. Receive, document and respond to member inquiries regarding plan benefits.
·Assist with the audit process to ensure all enrollments are accurate and that dependent information is correct for each employee and works closely with Accounting for quarterly and year-end audits (payroll, Workers Comp, 403B, etc.) as necessary.
·Plan, conduct and report results of audits to ensure all enrollments are accurate and that dependent information is correct for each employee. Works with Accounting as needed for bi-weekly, quarterly and year-end audits (payroll, Workers Comp, 403B, 457, ER Contributions, 1095, etc.)
·Address benefit inquiries to ensure timely and accurate resolutions. Maintains contact with employees and beneficiaries to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all employees.
·As needed, coordinate with insurance broker and representatives from the insurance companies, department managers and employees to manage disability claims, Workers Compensation, No Fault claims as well as FMLA, PFL and COBRA.
·Manage administration of Responsibilities associated with legislation such as the Affordable Care Act, COBRA, FMLA, PFL and other associated legislations.
·Oversee the processing of monthly billings from carriers. Reviews invoices for accuracy and approves for payment in a timely manner. Resolves discrepancies with carriers and payroll.
·Evaluate and recommend processes and policies and procedures to benefit programs.

Job Requirements
  Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and at least 5 years of employee benefits/payroll experience OR Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and at least 7 years of employee benefits/payroll experience OR at least 9 years of employee benefits/payroll experience
Experience with HRIS systems as well as Microsoft Suite applications
Benefit administration experience in a union environment
CPP payroll certification, CEBS benefits certification, SHRM/HRCI certifications

Staff member is responsible for all patient activities of the center including but not limited to: greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance eligibility, collection of co-pays/visit payments, ensuring patient demographics is complete and present in the EMR, posting charges and payments, answering phones, Worker’s Compensation forms, following up on A/R and batching daily receipts. Assistance with PCMH activities such as recall letter generation, orientation of new patients to the practice. Ability to obtain insurance authorization, communicate positively and courteously with patients. Scan medical record documents and route/task to providers in Next Gen. Other duties as assigned.

How You’ll Perform the Role

  • Support the sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams paint store, servicing wholesale and retail customers.
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Ensuring that sales transactions are completed accurately, maintaining precise work order files and formulas, pulling appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse, and tinting and mixing them to customer specifications
  • Assist in sourcing products required by customers that are not available in the store and, upon approval, place order and follow up as necessary. 
  • Be responsible for opening and closing the store, making bank deposits, stocking shelves and setting up displays, cleaning store equipment, and loading and unloading trucks.
